Dialogue Practice: Buying a Car (1)

Man: Hi, I'm looking for a ......... car in the $5000 to $10,000 price range.Salesman: Sure, our pre-owned cars are in this section.
Salesman: Are you looking for a car, truck, or .........?
Man: I'm looking for a 4-door .......... I might even be interested in a station wagon.
Salesman: OK. Do you have any make preferences?Man: Not really. I just want a safe, ......... car. I want a car that I count on, one that runs well.
Salesman: Sounds good. We have this really nice car over here. It's got low ......... because the previous owner only used it as a town car. He didn't drive it very much at all.Man: It looks good. Does it run well?
Salesman: It sure does. And this make is known for its reliability and safety features.Man: Can I take it for a(n) ......... drive?
Salesman: Of course. Let me get the keys. Oh, and it also has some factory ......... left on it because it's not very old. So if you have any mechanical problems in the next two years or so, the factory has to fix it for you.
Man: That's great! Is it .........?Salesman: It sure is. It has power windows and locks, a sunroof, cruise control and tilt steering.
Man: Great! I can't wait to drive it.Salesman: It's also very economical. It's only a four-......... car, a V4, so it's cheap on gas.
Man: That's really important these days. I'd also like to take a look at that ......... car over there. I may want a car that is able to operate on more than one fuel source. It's the coming thing.Salesman: Sure, you can test drive both of them.
